Ingredients:
1 Packet dry active yeast
¼ C. Warm water
½ C. Milk
½ C. Buttermilk
¼ C. Granulated sugar
1 Egg
Pinch salt
3 ½ C. All-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. Softened unsalted butter
For Honey Cinnamon Butter:
4 Tbsp. Butter, softened and unsalted
½ tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Honey
1 Tbsp. Confectioners sugar
Directions:
Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water. Let it sit briefly.
Warm the milk and buttermilk, then melt 2 tbsp. butter into it.
In a mixing bowl, blend the milk mixture, yeast, sugar, salt, and 1 cup flour until smooth.
Incorporate the egg, then gradually add the remaining flour until the dough separates from the hook.
Let the dough rise for 1 hour after forming it into a ball in a greased bowl.
Roll the dough out, cut into rectangles, fold to shape rolls, and let rise for 20 minutes.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Mix all ingredients for honey cinnamon butter and serve with warm rolls.
