Ingredients:
For the Alfredo sauce:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 cups heavy cream
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the lasagna:
12 lasagna noodles
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
1️⃣Cook the lasagna noodles:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Alfredo sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
3️⃣ Assemble the lasagna:
Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, followed by shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, Alfredo sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of Alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
4️⃣ Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
5️⃣ Garnish and serve:
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy your delicious Chicken Alfredo Lasagna!
