Ingredients:
• 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls work great)
• 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
• 12 slices provolone cheese
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp dried minced onion
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1/4 cup horseradish sauce (optional)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Au Jus:
• 2 cups beef broth
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached to each other. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
3. Add Condiments: Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls. If using, spread a thin layer of horseradish sauce on the top halves of the rolls.
4. Layer Ingredients: Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the roast beef. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
5. Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried minced onion, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine.
6. Brush the Sliders: Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
8. Prepare the Au Jus: While the sliders are baking, prepare the au jus. In a medium saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until heated through.
9. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly. Cut them into individual sliders and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm with the au jus for dipping.
