Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:
• 2 lbs of chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
For the Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:
• 1 stick of butter
• 8 to 10 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
• 1 tablespoon of hot sauce (adjust to taste)
• 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
• 1/3 cup of fresh parsley, minced
For the Chicken Seasonings:
• 2 teaspoons of paprika
• 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon of onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Directions:
1. Prep and Skewer Chicken:
• Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
• In a small bowl, mix together the chicken seasonings and set aside.
• Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces and toss them in olive oil and the mixed spices.
• Thread the chicken pieces tightly onto the skewers, leaving no space in between.
2. Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:
• Heat the butter and minced garlic until the butter is partially melted.
• Add in the red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and grated parmesan cheese. Whisk everything together until well combined.
3. Cook The Chicken:
• Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Cook the skewers in the air fryer for 5 minutes, then flip them over.
• Baste the skewers with the prepared garlic parmesan butter sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
• Flip the skewers again, baste with more sauce, and continue cooking until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. This should take about 5-6 more minutes.
