Ingredients:
- 1 glass of milk
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teacup of oil
- 1 egg (reserve the yolk for the topping)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups flour
For the Filling:
- 3-4 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons milk
- Parsley
For the Topping:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions:
- In a suitable kneading bowl, combine the milk, water, yeast, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add the oil and egg, then mix again.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, kneading to form a soft dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- For the filling, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth. Add butter, milk, and salt, then mix well. Stir in the chopped parsley.
- Punch down the risen dough to release the air, then divide it into 3 equal pieces. Roll out each piece into a square shape using a rolling pin.
- Spread the filling over the dough and roll it up into a log shape.
- Cut the rolls into equal pieces using a dough cutter.
- Place the shaped pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.
