12 large shrimp, tail off deveined
1.5 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup red bell pepper
1/2 cup onion
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp oil
Make sauce by mixing soy, honey, ginger, red pepper flakes and garlic together. Add in cornstarch last. Make sure all the lumps are gone. Put aside.
Add oil over medium high heat add in a large wok or skillet. Add in bell peppers and onions. Cook approximately 3-4 minutes. Add in broccoli and cook another 4 minutes or so before adding in butter. Once melted add in shrimp and cook approximately 2 minutes on each side before adding the sauce. Cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes. Serve over rice. Enjoy!
