Whipped Lemonade with Whipped Cream

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
9 cups water (divided)
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
For the Whipped Cream:

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:

Make the Simple Syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 1/2 cups of sugar with 1 cup of water. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture becomes clear. Bring to a simmer for a minute, then remove from heat and let cool completely.

Combine Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup, remaining 8 cups of water, and the fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until cold.

Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl using a hand mixer or whisk, whip the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract (if using) until stiff peaks form.

Assemble and Serve: Fill your glasses with ice and pour the chilled lemonade over the ice. Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with a lemon slice (optional) and enjoy!”
