Ingredients:
For the dough:
– 4 potatoes
– 200ml potato broth
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 egg
– 12g dry yeast
– 550-600g flour
For the filling:
– 500g minced meat
– 1 onion
– Salt and spices to taste
– 50ml boiling water
– Vegetable frying oil
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
– Boil and mash the potatoes.
– In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, potato broth, sugar, salt, egg, and dry yeast.
– Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Filling:
– In a pan, sauté minced meat and chopped onion until browned.
– Season with salt and spices. Add boiling water and let it simmer until cooked.
3. Shape and Fill the Dumplings:**
– Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
– Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
– Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
4. Cook the Dumplings:
– Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
– Drop dumplings into the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface.
5. Fry the Dumplings:
– Heat vegetable oil in a pan.
– Fry the boiled dumplings until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
